Soup Sunday At The Shop...........

The "blogger" has spied some new "denizens of the shop".  Is that wine glasses I observe in the hands of the newcomers?  They catch on quickly.  But then they are sitting next to Mark and Liz. (oh, I lost my head, I should have known better)  Welcome to the "Cigar Shop"!!!!

Notice the "newcomers" and the "old timers" are engaged in interesting repartee, all except Steve.  He isn't missing a lick on the food.  He is still in bachelor mood since his better half is away. (Once a pirate always a pirate) And more wine glasses,ummmmmmmmmmmm where do all the glasses come from?  The wine glass fairy, I suppose.

Now here is an interesting character, the infamous Mark in a jovial mood.  (notice all the beer bottles on the table behind him...mmmmmmmm

November 20th-Sunday

My "good Friend" is here to remind everyone that today is "soup Sunday" at the shop.  The weather is sunny and should be in the mid 70's.  Not bad for the month of November.  There will be no band or organized entertainment so we will have to resort to our resources..cigars, drinks and great conversation.  See you there.  Ciao my friends.

Cigar Shop Christmas Ready

Georges is Christmas ready for all to enjoy.  When George puts up the Christmas Tree all of the families are welcome to bring an ornament to hang on the tree.

The "shop" is beautified for once again with Georges flowers and color selection.

Our front door "greeter" in Indian disguise and newly repainted by Rouadia, (daughter of the Host) is in his glory standing guard at the gate...

George is at peace with his flowers and Red Bows with his ever present stoogie....

Election Night Revelers

Some of the "Cigar Store Mafia" staking claim to the bar for the protection of all who came to join the celebration and extend their "congrats" on winning the mayoral and commissioner seats of Cape Carteret.  Mayor Dave and Commissioner Richard appreciated everyone's support and moral backing during the whole election process.

Of course no party can be complete without Mark and Lisa present to extend their "congrats" to the winning candidates.

Here we go, some denizens that are part of the "Cigar Store Mafia" making an appearance before the "black limo" takes them away.

Here is one of our winners, Commissioner Richard accepting congratulations from one of his many supporters.(AKA Capn' Blackbeard)

Of course here is the Main Man of the Hour, Dave Fowler, the new His Honor, The Mayor of Cape Carteret.  It was hard obtaining a head-on photo cuz the Mayor hit the ground running talking to everyone.

The only group not making an appearance was the "Blues Brothers"....They were busy in LA and could not make the festivities.
