Election Night Revelers

Some of the "Cigar Store Mafia" staking claim to the bar for the protection of all who came to join the celebration and extend their "congrats" on winning the mayoral and commissioner seats of Cape Carteret.  Mayor Dave and Commissioner Richard appreciated everyone's support and moral backing during the whole election process.

Of course no party can be complete without Mark and Lisa present to extend their "congrats" to the winning candidates.

Here we go, some denizens that are part of the "Cigar Store Mafia" making an appearance before the "black limo" takes them away.

Here is one of our winners, Commissioner Richard accepting congratulations from one of his many supporters.(AKA Capn' Blackbeard)

Of course here is the Main Man of the Hour, Dave Fowler, the new His Honor, The Mayor of Cape Carteret.  It was hard obtaining a head-on photo cuz the Mayor hit the ground running talking to everyone.

The only group not making an appearance was the "Blues Brothers"....They were busy in LA and could not make the festivities.

Sunday Dinner @ The Shop

Here we are, on a nice day in Swansboro watching our favorite "two cabana boys", Frank V. and Keith working on some winterizing for the shop.  You will also notice the "shop foreman", Frank T. and "owner operator", Georges supervising the installation of the wind blocker.

We now have the "man cave" suitable for winter hibernation and occupation by the "denizens" of  the area.  We have a new Flat Screen TV donated by The Lucas Man and his "sidekick" Miss Amanda.....From the "denizens" we all thank you and love you.........
This past Sunday's dinner was well attended by the "denizens" and their mates.  Most prominent is the unofficial "hostess" Miss Lisa welcoming everyone and providing a comfortable feeling. (work the room Lisa) The food was outstanding, the conversation lively and outstanding and the atmosphere was electric with good cigars and football games.  Thanks to all who participated and special thanks to those supplying the eats and drinks.........
