Fuente Cigar Event

Well Denizens we have some photos of Tuesday night's cigar event at the Shop for the A. Fuente reps....... George hosted an event for the Arturo Fuente reps with dinner served consisting of steaks, baked potatoes, green bean salad and veggies of all kinds and some cookies for desert.

CWO5 Sammy Hammonds is retiring and is sharing his long awaited moment  with anyone that would like to attend.  Please follow the directions on the invitation.

I just ported in Spain, we are only here for a few hours to resupply
and fuel. I was locked on to play 9 holes on base but it is pouring!
No worries though we will be in Greece soon enough. I hope everyone is
well. I will be uploading some pics soon and getting them out to you.

Just wanted to let everyone know, we entered the Mediterranean through the straits of Gibraltar late last night, and I was teeing off from the flight deck first thing in the morning!(see attached pic) The weather is great, unfortunately it was raining in Spain for the few hours we were there so no golf. However, Saturday I will be in Corfu Greece, my tee time for Saturday and Sunday has been set, via email, at the Corfu Country Club! After Corfu we are off to the desert armpit of Oman for a training op with the Omani Nation Army. Muslims and the desert, two things I could do without. We have a full schedule building up for the next 7 months and a lot happening geopolitical that could get interesting! Spirits are high with my Marines and basically good. Hope all is well.

The Wanderings

Hey Gents,
Well we are well into the Atlantic, and the air is warming up.  The first few days were pretty rough and windy, but we pushed south and the seas and temps are much better.  I hope you enjoyed St. Pattys day for me, mine sucked!  The navy made green Ice cream....gay. Please pass along my email to Rusty and anyone else who wants to contact me.  I should be in Rota Spain soon, but only fro a day, however I was assured by the captain we will have enough time to play a round on base....I will take pics and get out to you all.  Miss you guys!!!

I just received some sad news today:

Steve Peters informs me that his wife(Judy)'s sister Barbara passed away last evening.  Please keep Steve and his family in your prayers and thoughts.  Steve and Judy are regulars at the shop and are always fun to visit with.
